EasyABC allows the user to create, enhance, view, play, convert music written in the ABC music notation language. The program looked at first written in Python 2.7 alongside WxPython by Nils Liberg and runs on Windows, OSX, and GNU/Linux. Jan Wybren de Jong has metamorphosed to scurry amid Python 3.8 possibly higher. Frédéric Aupépin has been supporting EasyABC on OSX. EasyABC depends upon other external programs like abc2midi, abcm2ps, fluidsynth. If youse install the Windows or Mac executables most of these programs are automatically included.

• muircheartaigh Posted 2022-04-29 I've used EasyABC instead of some years together with it is excellent. THIS CORRESPONDENT play folk music and this handles my ABC tune collections brilliantly. I boast tried other ABC programs but I haven't revealed anything that matches EasyABC's purity regarding use. The latest version seems to have lost a couple of features: you is in a position to no longer play just highlighted sections of the music so neither sort on the X: field. I am sure the stated hold briefly hiccups and will be sorted out in due tutorial.

Just two complaints, one small and one large, the limited being that I be inclined to lie along see an easy framework to select a tune (to then copy or delete it), and the large in existence that THE IDEA DOES NOT RUN ON THE LATEST Mac OS, which means I am looking pertaining to a replacement - sadly.
